Appearance[]
Two of these are granted at the start of the game, being found within the desk in Carl's Office.
Otherwise, they do not appear naturally, and must be purchased.
Acquisition[]
Two are given for free at the start of the game.
Can be bought from the state shop for 150 Reputation Points, or can be bought from Nathan Kehler if previously sold to him for $750.
Use[]
Can be placed in the building at the predesignated camera locations to spy on tenants and gather information, to see when they are home, and to see where each tenant is. The Surveillance camera I can be used for cheaper, but less effective surveillance. The Surveillance camera III can be used with greater effectiveness, but at a much higher price.
Alternatively, can be sold to Nathan Kehler to gain some money.
Trivia[]
- The surveillance camera II sells for the second most money per Reputation Point.
- Surveillance camera I: $150 / 50 RP = $3 per RP
- Surveillance camera II: $250 / 150 RP ≈ $1.67 per RP
- Surveillance camera III: $500 / 350 ≈ $1.43 per RP
- The surveillance camera II is an in-between for the other two cameras, being neither cost-effective nor effective. As such, it is ill-advised to use these cameras unless absolutely necessary.
